Looking for PS VR2 games with PS5 Pro enhancements? Here's everything you need to know.
Almost four years after the original PS5 was released, the higher-end PlayStation 5 Pro is here with a mid-generation upgrade. Available now from $700, the PS5 Pro features a 2TB SSD, a 45% more powerful GPU with 2-3x faster ray tracing and PlayStation Spectral Super Resolution (PSSR) - which doesn't support PS VR2 at launch but will in a future update - which is a neural upscaling technology similar to NVIDIA's DLSS.

This should allow developers to run PS VR2 games at a higher framerate or refresh rate. Sony only confirmed two PS VR2 games would have a PS5 Pro patch at launch, and more are continuing to emerge. We've also highlighted any upcoming games with confirmed PS5 Pro support. However, we've excluded games without dedicated enhancements that still have minor performance improvements.
Three additional games with PS VR2 support - Resident Evil 4 Remake, My First Gran Turismo and Resident Evil Village - have PS5 Pro patches. However, it's currently unclear if these performance benefits are only for the flatscreen editions or if they extend to PlayStation VR2 as well. Until we get an official confirmation, we've left them off.
For now, here's all of the PlayStation VR2 games with PS5 Pro enhancements that we're currently aware of.
Available Now
Arken Age
Developed by VitruviusVR, Arken Age is a single-player science fiction action-adventure game that's now available on PS VR2. The studio confirmed this offers a 15% resolution boost for the 90FPS 'Performance Mode' and a 25% resolution boost when using 60/120Hz reprojection in 'Quality Mode.'

cyubeVR
Developed by Stonebrick Studios, cyubeVR is an open-world procedurally generated sandbox inspired by Minecraft. The studio informed MIXED that the PS5 Pro patch is already available with improvements including “increased distance for maximum level of detail (LOD) quality for the landscape” and anything the player builds on it. Higher LOD quality for trees is also available.

Gran Turismo 7
Gran Turismo 7 recently introduced PS5 Pro enhancements with its November 1.54 update. VR-specific upgrades include enhanced rendering quality and smoother video playback, the latter of which is “achieved through the VR Positional Reprojection function.”
Similarly, the free-to-play entry My First Gran Turismo also includes PS5 Pro enhancements. However, it's unknown if these are similar to Gran Turismo 7's upgrades on PlayStation VR2 or specific to the flatscreen entry.

Kayak VR: Mirage
Following its recent Soca Valley DLC and adding real-time multiplayer, Kayak VR: Mirage is one of two PS VR2 games officially confirmed by Sony to have a day one PS5 Pro patch. While the framerate remains 90fps on both PS5 variants, Better Than Life revealed that PS5 Pro users will benefit from increased dynamic resolution, 8K textures, and other enhancements.

No Man's Sky
Alongside adding cross-platform saves for all platforms, Hello Games confirmed No Man's Sky quietly received its PS5 Pro Patch when The Cursed update dropped. While PSSR support is currently unavailable for PS VR2, the studio informed UploadVR that the Dynamic Resolution Scaling (DRS) range will jump from 1458P to 2160P on PS5 Pro, and foveated rendering “increases the effective resolution by 300%.”

Oniriam
Oniriam describes itself as an adventure puzzle game where “dreams come to life and choices shape your destiny.” Released a week after launch, publisher My World srls confirmed the PS5 Pro upgrade is now available with “advanced visual fidelity and performance enhancements.”
Subside
Subside, the immersive aquatic VR experience from A2D Software, launched last December on PlayStation VR2 following a prior Steam release. While both versions of the PS5 console run the game at 90hz with no reprojection, Subside's PS5 Pro enhancements include dynamic shadows, an edge blur effect and a slight resolution increase through foveated rendering.

Upcoming PS VR2 Games With PS5 Pro Enhancements
Presently, we're unaware of any upcoming VR games with plans to implement PS5 Pro enhancements on PlayStation VR2. Notable future PS VR2 releases right now include Hitman World Of Assassination, Firmament, UNDERDOGS, Pirates VR: Jolly Roger, The Midnight Walk, and Wanderer: The Fragments Of Fate.
